Dolphin Encounters
The Dolphin Encounters programme offered on Blue Lagoon Island off Nassau and Grand Bahama Island is a must do for the entire family. Visitors can have a close encounter with these beautiful creatures or a swim with the dolphins. With the close encounters, visitors are given a 10 minute, fun interactive orientation on the dolphins, its history and training procedures. They are then taken to the encounter float where they are positioned in a waist-deep submerged platform and will experience a heart-warming kiss, a hug, a dance and opportunities to rub down the dolphin. Your dolphin trainer will combine elements of hands-on contact, education, fun, laughter, and adventure to make this an unforgettable experience.
With the swim with the dolphins programme, you are in the water the entire time with the dolphin, aided by a life jacket. You will get an opportunity to sing and dance with the dolphins as they push you along in the water.
After each experience, you have the opportunity to take home a video tape at an added cost.
